Privacy policy
Who we are
Antilles Power Boats is a private powerboat tour operator based at Hannah Bay, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Contact for data questions: booking@antillespowerboats.com.
What data we collect and how
This website is a static site hosted on a CDN. It has an on-site inquiry form, no account registration, and it takes no payments, so it never asks for a card number. We do not run advertising pixels and we do not sell your data. We do use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used, and they set their own cookies; there is more on both under Third-party services below.
When you choose to reach us, data passes through the channel you select:
- WhatsApp. If you contact us through our WhatsApp link, your message and phone number are received by Antilles Power Boats through WhatsApp (a Meta Platforms service). WhatsApp's own privacy policy governs that channel.
- Email. If you email us at booking@antillespowerboats.com, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. We use this information only to reply to your inquiry.
- Phone. If you call us, we receive your number through your telephone carrier. We use it only to return your call or confirm your booking.
Booking and permit data
When you confirm a tour, we collect each guest's name and the number of guests aboard so we can buy cruising permits from BVI customs and file who is on the boat. We use these details only for that purpose and for running your tour safely. They are never sold or shared for anything else. Hosting and server logs
This site is served by a static hosting provider. Like all web servers, the host may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for infrastructure and security purposes. We do not access or analyse individual visitor logs.
Third-party services
- WhatsApp and Meta Platforms. Used when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. Subject to WhatsApp's own terms and Meta's data policy.
- Instagram and Facebook. Our social pages are hosted by Meta Platforms. Visiting those pages is governed by Meta's terms.
- Web3Forms. Delivers our website inquiry form. When you send the form, what you typed reaches our inbox through Web3Forms: your name, email address, phone number, the number of guests, the ship or villa you are staying on, your message, and the tour and date you were asking about, together with the page you sent it from. Your browser sends the form to Web3Forms directly, so they also see your IP address. We collect nothing else through the form, and we do not use any of it for another purpose.
- Google Analytics. Our visitor statistics. Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages people view, roughly where visits come from, and how far through an inquiry people get. It sets its own cookies to recognise a returning browser, and your browser talks to Google directly, so Google also sees your IP address. It never receives your name, your contact details, or anything you type into a form. Google processes what it collects under its own privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity. Our website analytics. Clarity records how this site is used (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, mouse movement) so we can see which parts of the site work and which confuse people. It sets its own cookies to recognise a returning browser. It masks the text you type, so form fields are never captured, and it never receives your name or your message. Microsoft processes what Clarity collects under its own privacy statement.
Apart from Google Analytics and Clarity, none of these services run any tracking on this site itself.
Data retention
Inquiry messages (WhatsApp, email, phone and the form) are kept for as long as we need them to handle your booking and for a reasonable period afterward. Booking and permit details are kept as long as BVI regulations require. We do not hold personal data for longer than necessary.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at booking@antillespowerboats.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We recommend checking this page occasionally if you are a returning guest.
Terms of use
The service
Antilles Power Boats offers private, whole-boat powerboat tours from Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Every tour is exclusive to your group; there are no shared departures. Prices are per boat, as quoted.
Reservations, deposits and refunds
A deposit confirms your requested date. You arrange it with us directly, by Zelle or card. The balance is paid on the day, by cash, Zelle or card, and card payments carry the card fee shown on our prices page.
Paying a deposit places your request. We confirm every booking personally, usually within a few hours. In the rare case that your date cannot be confirmed, your deposit is refunded in full.
Once your booking is confirmed, our cancellation terms apply: cancel 14 or more days before your tour for a full refund, cancel inside that and the deposit is kept, and a cancellation outside your control is refunded in full.

Conduct on board
The captain's instructions must be followed at all times for the safety of everyone aboard. Antilles Power Boats reserves the right to end a tour early, without refund, if a guest's behaviour puts others at risk.
Pricing and availability
Prices shown on this website are indicative and subject to change. The confirmed price is the one agreed in your booking communication. We confirm availability personally, not by payment of a deposit alone.
Limitation of liability
Antilles Power Boats is not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside our control, such as weather, sea conditions or a mechanical issue requiring a change of route. In all cases our liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the British Virgin Islands. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
